Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is defined as a disease caused by a new type of coronavirus called Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2; formerly known as 2019-nCoV).

The Minister of Foreign Affairs Mahdum Shah Mahmoud Qureshi visited the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Diplomat COVID-19 Vaccination Center. The Minister of Foreign Affairs particularly praised the role of NIH in supporting Pakistan’s response to the new crown pneumonia epidemic.

India may have passed the peak of the latest coronavirus outbreak, but the number of infections in some other Asian countries is on the rise.0At the same time, due to concerns about the prevalence of Delta variants, immunization rates in the region (with a few exceptions) are generally still low.

NBC News counted the number of vaccinations nationwide. When a state or territory implements a vaccination plan, check the number of people who are vaccinated for the first time and the number of people who are fully vaccinated.

The World Health Organization (WHO) will work closely with experts, governments, and partners around the world to rapidly expand scientific knowledge about this new virus, track the epidemic and pathogenicity of the virus, and protect health. We recommend that the government and individuals take measures. And to prevent the spread of this epidemic.

The number of infections changes every day. Organizations that collect this information, such as the World Health Organization (WHO) and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), collect information and are constantly aware of the outbreak. As of this writing (May 11, 2021), more than 159 million people have been infected globally.
